Is a RESERFACE Facial Peel Right for You?

• RESERFACE-L – This light strength chemical peel is ideal as a first use for new clients. It’s gentle and requires the least downtime. It can be used for all skin types to treat acne-prone skin, mild hyperpigmentation, light sun damage and for general skin rejuvenation. Multiple treatments can increase its effectiveness.
• RESERFACE-M – A medium-depth peel, this product produces significant exfoliation and is effective for fine lines and wrinkles, moderate photo-damaged skin, mild acne scarring, and uneven pigmentation or melasma. For clients who respond well to RESERFACE-L skin peel, it can also be used as a follow-up treatment for additional improvement.
• RESERVACE-F – As the strongest peel in this line, it produces significant, deep exfoliation, and has the most dramatic effect. Some downtime may be required with this treatment, and we may recommend a test peel with a lighter strength of RESERFACE before recommending this product. It is very effective for photo-damaged skin, acne scarring and for minimizing fine lines and wrinkles.

What to Expect from a DermPharma RESERFACE Peel

In a consultation with you, we’ll carefully evaluate your skin type and condition and may recommend treatments with a particular strength of RESERFACE. We’ll also discuss your appearance goals and recommend either a single peel or a plan that includes additional treatments, spaced carefully for maximum effectiveness. Depending on the strength of the product, we may also suggest scheduling some time off from work or social engagements during the peeling and recovery period. After discussing cost with you, we’ll schedule your treatment and give you any instructions for skin care needed before the appointment.

During your appointment, we’ll carefully apply the RESERFACE peel, which will remain on your skin for a few hours before you wash it off. During the first 24-48 hours, you may experience some itching, redness and discomfort similar to the effect of a sunburn. We’ll recommend ways to minimize any discomfort. On the third day after treatment, peeling will begin. You’ll see the effects of the peeling in your mirror. After 5-7 days, your skin’s appearance will return to normal, but will be brighter, smoother, and healthier-looking.

After your appointment, you should be careful to avoid sun exposure and follow our instructions for after-care, including the use of a sun-blocker. We’ll recommend products and provide instructions for post-treatment care. How much care you will have to take will depend on the strength of the peel and your individual skin type and condition. If multiple treatments have been planned, you can expect your next treatment to be six-weeks to two months after the previous treatment. Our clients report that they tolerate these treatments very well and are very satisfied with the improvements in their skin’s appearance.
